Performed at the 2022 Island Music Festival

Ayumi Sakuraba performed at “Island Music Festival (島嶼音樂季),” a music and cultural exchange event between Taiwan and Okinawa held in Hualien, Taiwan.
During the visit, the artists traveled to the Zhiben Jianhe Indigenous Community in Taitung and the Lilu Community in Ji'an, Hualien, where they experienced the local culture and music while deepening cultural exchange.
In addition to an exchange at National Dong Hwa University in Hualien, a collaborative music workshop was held, bringing Taiwanese and Okinawan musicians together to create an original piece of music.
On the final day, a music event was held in the plaza in front of Guanshan Tianhou Temple, where the Taiwanese and Okinawan musicians performed the collaborative piece created during the workshop.
It was a meaningful opportunity to share the cultures, traditions, and roots passed down through generations in Taiwan and Okinawa through the power of music.
